AVENGERS

With as long as we waited for this movie to come out, Mikayla and I couldn't NOT dress up. I went as the fantastic director of SHIELD, Nick Fury, and Mikayla went as Tony Stark's lovely lady Pepper Potts. It was a joyous affair all around, and I'm super glad we dressed up!
We had friends as almost all the characters, too. Iron Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Widow and Captain America were all in our group, as well! We were only missing a hulk.
The movie itself was absolutely spectacular! And, of course, it was made even more spectacular by the cheering and clapping and geeking out that accompanies midnight showings of this sort. Unfortunately, I am not quite as geeky as Mikayla, so I was ignorant of many of the subjects that came up.(including the after-credit scene!)
BUT, I loved it anyway, and it is definitely worth seeing in theaters. And dressing up for.
Favorite character was Thor, of course - my favorite part is a toss-up between when Thor first arrives and when Thor and Hulk fight. (SERIOUSLY awesome) I was a little sad that they didn't give us more back story on Black Widow and Hawkeye. I guess we'll have to wait for another movie on that one! Thor 2, Iron Man 3, Captain America 2 and Avengers 2 are all supposed to be coming out in the next few years. Can't wait!
